Timothy Gondek is the Co-Managing Partner in the Hartford, CT office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Professional Liability, Medical Malpractice, and Long-Term Care practices. Tim focuses on the defense of professionals; he has significant experience defending medical professionals (including physicians, mental health professionals, nurses and nursing homes) as well as attorneys, accountants, insurance agents and brokers. He has recently expanded his practice to encompass a variety of construction defect matters as well. 

With fifteen years of litigation experience, Tim has significant experience as first chair in a variety of trials, and regularly represents clients at the appellate level. He has also represented clients in dozens of successful mediations and/or arbitrations. Additionally, Tim maintains a general liability practice, and also defends condominium association and executive boards against D&O claims.

Tim was recognized on the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2015 to 2021, and he was named one of the Top 50 attorneys in Connecticut by Attorney Intel in 2023.
