Dana A. Grigg is the Administrative Partner of the Reno office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability Practice. Ms. Grigg handles matters across several practice areas including complex civil litigation, construction, commercial litigation, personal injury defense, and insurance law. She also defends trucking, logistics, mass transit, and livery companies in transportation matters, including those involving wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims. Ms. Grigg consistently secures positive results for her clients in jury trials, bench trials, mediation, and pre-litigation negotiations. In addition to her extensive litigation and trial experience in Nevada’s state and federal courts, Ms. Grigg has more than ten years of regulatory experience and has successfully assisted numerous businesses and individuals with the eviction process in Nevada.

Ms. Grigg began her career as a solo practitioner before joining the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps with the U.S. Air Force. During her time as a judge advocate, she advised on a wide array of issues and litigated hundreds of matters involving contract, criminal, administrative, legislative, and international law. She also led a strategic initiative in Oceania to develop a comprehensive National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security, which resulted in a speaking engagement at Brown University. Following her time as a judge advocate, Ms. Grigg became a hearing officer and attorney for the Nevada Division of Insurance where she regulated all insurance licenses for Nevada. Her experience at the Division gave her invaluable insight that she has applied since returning to private practice.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Grigg is active in her legal and local communities. She holds a B-2 contractor’s license and has been involved in construction in Nevada for over a decade. In addition, she is a member of the Northern Nevada Women Lawyers Association and the Washoe County Bar Association. Ms. Grigg also serves as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and coaches her son’s and daughter’s basketball teams. She enjoys snowboarding and traveling with her family.
