Ashley Kim is an associate of the San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Professional Liability Practice. In addition to defending attorneys in legal malpractice actions, Ms. Kim also represents other licensed professionals, including insurance agents and brokers and real estate professionals. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Kim also represented governmental entities and common interest developments, including homeowner's associations, in general litigation matters and employers and employees in wrongful discharge actions. She has extensive experience in all facets of litigation through trial. 

Ms. Kim earned her Juris Doctorate in 2019 from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of the Law. During law school, Ms. Kim externed for the Supreme Court of Ohio and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio. After graduating from law school, Ms. Kim clerked for Judge M. Elaine Hammond of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. She is licensed to practice in both Ohio and California.
