Kye Kim is of counsel in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Korean Business & Litigation and Corporate Practices.

Kye has over 25 years of experience in legal positions, including law firms and senior in-house positions. In his roles, Kye has provided overall strategic counseling, including serving as General Counsel at Hyundai Motor Group affiliates, Innocean Worldwide and Hyundai Rotem. He has also served as corporate counsel at Samsung Heavy Industries.

He has advised on all aspects of corporate issues ranging from mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate investments, and share purchases. He has provided counsel on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, private equity investments, and bridge loans.

Kye is also a litigator with trial and arbitration experience. He has handled and supervised complex disputes involving intellectual property, EPC contracts, rolling stock purchase agreements, and shipbuilding agreements.
