Gia Kipperman Schneider is a partner in the San Francisco, California and Tampa, Florida offices of Lewis Brisbois. Since 1999, her practice has been dedicated to representation of self-insured employers and insurance companies in close collaboration with third-party administrators, and includes defense of Labor Code Section 132a and Serious and Willful Misconduct claims (Labor Code Section 4553.) 

Between college and law school, Ms. Schneider worked as a Qualified Rehabilitation Representative, positioning her to provide particularly-knowledgeable counsel regarding accommodation of work restrictions and eliciting specificity from physicians to assist with prompt return to work and limitation of permanent impairment/exposure.

Ms. Schneider endeavors to maintain effective communication between all parties, with timely and clear recommendations to clients, in order to facilitate prompt and appropriate resolution, whether via settlement or Trial.

Ms. Schneider is a past co-chair of the Santa Clara County Workers’ Compensation Attorneys Association and currently serves as a liaison to the Board of Kids’ Chance of California.
