Linna Loangkote is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Complex Business & Commercial Litigation and Insurance Coverage Practices. She has extensive experience in all phases of litigation in both federal and state court, including complex multi-party mediation and trial. In one case, she helped to obtain a defense verdict for her clients in a $2 million bet-the-business litigation regarding disputed ownership of two local Los Angeles establishments.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Loangkote practiced at an AmLaw 200 and a mid-size firm where she represented various business entities and high-end real estate brokerages in breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and other various tort cases.
She holds a bachelor of arts from the University of California, Riverside and a juris doctor from the University of California School of Law San Francisco. While in law school, she was senior editor of the Hastings Law Journal and Hastings Science and Technology Journal. She also externed for the Honorable Barry Russell (C.D. Cal. Bankr.) and the Honorable S. James Otero (C.D. Cal.).

Representative Matters
Clients, nightclub owners, were in a legal battle with management consultants over theft and unpaid fees. After a six-week trial, the consultants sought over $2.3 million and claimed 50% ownership of the businesses. The jury ultimately ruled in favor of the clients.
