Zachary B. Metz

Associate

Zachary B. Metz is an attorney in the Charleston, Cincinnati, and Lexington offices of Lewis Brisbois. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Metz spent four years working as a Paralegal. First in the Creditors Rights field then as a Corporate Paralegal working in house for one of America's top ten largest convenience store companies. This background provided Mr. Metz with the tools that he needed to thrive in law school.

While attending law school at Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, Mr. Metz published a student note in the 49th Volume of the Northern Kentucky Law Review before being elected as the Editor-In-Chief for its 50th Volume. Mr. Metz is also an active member of the NKY Law Review's Alumni Association.

After graduating from the Chase College of Law, Mr. Metz took the Ohio bar exam and was sworn into the Supreme Court of Ohio to become a licensed attorney in the Ohio. Thereafter, Mr. Metz was sworn into the Supreme Court of West Virginia. As a young attorney, Mr. Metz became enthralled with work in the Labor and Employment field and worked with a firm that represented both employees and employers in their Labor and Employment disputes. During his early years of practice, Mr. Metz worked labor and employment disputes with individuals as well as professional practices in the medical field throughout West Virginia serving as both plaintiff’s and defenses counsel. 

Mr. Metz has practiced, and continues to practice, in state and federal courts representing civil defendants in disputes concerning labor and employment law, truck accidents, personal injury law, contracts law, and products liability law throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia. Mr. Metz has also litigated, and continues to litigate, numerous insurance coverage disputes and bad faith lawsuits throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.

Mr. Metz is an active member of his community and church in Northern KY. He also serves as a member of the Executive Board of the Campbell County Republican Party. Finally, Mr. Metz is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys bow hunting, trail running, fishing, camping, hiking, and other recreational activities at the beautiful state parks throughout Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.
