Genna Promnick-Pavlov

Associate

Genna Promnick-Pavlov is an associate in the Sacramento office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. She earned her law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the Science and Technology Law Journal and participated in the Startup Legal Garage. Through this program, she gained hands-on experience assisting Tech startups with corporate matters under the guidance of leading Bay Area law firms, earning a CALI Award for her work.

Prior to law school, she graduated cum laude from UC Santa Barbara, where she participated in the UC Washington Program as a congressional intern.

Before joining Lewis Brisbois, Genna served as a Deputy Public Defender in Northern California, where she litigated a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases, including DUIs, domestic violence matters, juvenile cases, and tried multiple jury trials to verdict. 

Drawing on her diverse legal background, Genna focuses her litigation practice on labor and employment matters, defending businesses against claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and ADA compliance issues. She also advises clients on workplace policies and compliance under laws such as the Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Unruh Civil Rights Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
