Tova Rabin is an associate in the New York office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Tova brings a unique and strategic perspective to employment litigation, having represented clients on both sides of the table.
She is admitted to practice in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey and handles a wide range of matters including discrimination under Title VII, violations of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and the New Jersey Law against Discrimination. Whether counseling clients on risk mitigation or defending against litigation, Tova is known for thoughtful analysis, strong advocacy, and a commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, Tova spent the first few years of her legal career advocating for employees in a wide range of workplace disputes. With a deep understanding of the plaintiff's mindset, Tova is particularly adept at evaluating the strength of claims early in the process and identifying the potential pressure points in litigation. This dual-sided experience allows her to anticipate opposing strategies, craft proactive defense plans, and guide employers through complex employment issues with a practical, empathetic, and results-driven approach.
In addition to her legal practice, Tova is actively engaged in a variety of professional development activities including speaking at Continuing Legal Education (CLE) events, sharing insights on emerging legal trends through blog posts, and co-authoring the LexisNexis Practice Guide: Pennsylvania Labor and Employment, 2024 edition.
After graduating from Drexel University Kline School of Law, Tova served as a law clerk to Hon. Terrence R. Nealon of the Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Tova is licensed to practice in only Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
