Mack Reed is a partner in the Minneapolis office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Labor & Employment Practice.

Mack is a tenacious litigator with extensive experience representing all manner of clients – from Fortune 50 companies, to small businesses, to individuals. At various points in his career, he’s also focused on representing plaintiffs in both business and employment disputes, which enables him to bring a unique perspective to his defense-side work. 

Mack focuses his litigation practice on employment matters, including discrimination and whistleblower cases; complex commercial litigation, such as closely-held shareholder/member disputes, breach of contract actions (including actions involving post-employment restrictive covenants), breach of fiduciary duty actions, fraud actions, actions for temporary or preliminary injunctive relief, and trade secret misappropriation disputes; legal malpractice defense; and financial markets litigation before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). He also has considerable experience successfully negotiating pre-litigation settlements on behalf of his clients. Additionally, Mack provides counseling to his clients with an eye toward avoiding litigation. 

In every instance, Mack commits himself to empathizing with his clients so as to better understand – and better advocate for – their goals. Clients appreciate Mack’s no-nonsense approach to practicing law, as well as his creativity and the aggressive, but pragmatic approach he brings to each matter.
