Joseph Shea is an associate in the Providence office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Public Agency and Municipal Law and General Liability Practices. He represents and defends numerous insurance carriers and their insureds throughout all aspects of the litigation cycle. He also supports the Solicitor for the City of East Providence and the Town of Tiverton on a wide range of municipal matters, including labor and employment disputes and land acquisitions. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Joseph attended George Mason University’s School of Law. While in law school, Joseph interned at a boutique civil litigation firm in Providence, Rhode Island, gaining valuable insight into Rhode Island’s civil litigation process. Joseph also interned with a State Agency, where he gained public service experience and understanding into the State’s regulatory environment.
