Maria Shockley

Associate

Maria is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Business Practice Group, Government Contracts practice, Complex Commercial Litigation practice, and Administrative/Regulatory practice. Maria graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky College of Law where she was an editor of the Kentucky Law Journal and a member of the Women’s Law Caucus. During her time in law school, Maria co-authored an article in the Pharmacy Times, entitled How does the EUA for the COVID-19 Vaccines Work?

Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Maria practiced healthcare liability defense at a firm in Nashville, TN, handling cases in both Tennessee and Kentucky, and completed a two-year clerkship in the United States Court of Federal Claims, Office of Special Masters, handling National Vaccine Injury Compensation Act cases.
