Amanda Simpson is an associate in the Houston office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the Medical Malpractice, Long-Term Care, and Healthcare Practices. Amanda has experience in medical malpractice litigation, transportation litigation, product defect litigation, general liability litigation, premises liability litigation, dram shop litigation, and some contested guardianship, probate, and estate planning experience. 

Amanda has participated as trial counsel in numerous trials, including matters claiming real estate DTPA, construction personal injury, contested probate, and medical malpractice. She also has experience in court arguments and trial pleadings.

Amanda attended Cameron University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2007, and she graduated from Baylor University School of Law with her Juris Doctor in 2010.

In her spare time, Amanda volunteers at the Baylor School of Law’s Veteran’s Legal Clinic, providing legal advice to indigent veterans. She is an active member of the Junior League of Waco and a member of the Waco Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Waco Class of XL.
