Abigail Van Horn is an associate in the Atlanta office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation and Intellectual Property & TechnologyPractices. She represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes, including contract, real estate, franchise, and intellectual property litigation.

Abigail has served as lead defense counsel for franchisees in multi-state matters, successfully defending against copyright and trademark claims and achieving favorable results in contract disputes. She has argued dispositive motions, mediated landlord-tenant conflicts, and advised clients across a wide range of industries. She also brings transactional experience to her practice, having drafted and negotiated commercial agreements, leases, and corporate governance documents.

She also advises clients in matters involving fraudulent transfers, unauthorized electronic payments, and banking disputes under UCC Article 4A and NACHA rules.  Her practice includes counseling businesses on commercially reasonable security procedures and risk allocation in financial transactions.

In addition to her litigation practice, Abigail is certified in Transactional Lawthrough Emory University School of Law’s Transactional Certificate Program, giving her insight into both sides of business disputes.
