Emily Weisslitz is a partner in the Newark office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the General Liability and Transportation Practices.

Emily focuses her practice on the defense of general liability matters, including automobile accident claims, dram shop claims, employment discrimination and termination claims, construction defect, construction site accident claims, maritime claims, municipal liability, product liability and premises liability. Her clients have included national owners and operators of commercial properties in premises liability litigation has involved claims for contractual indemnification, additional insured coverage, and breach of contract. She is experienced in defending manufacturers of consumer products and industrial machinery and equipment against products liability claims. She has also defended manufacturers of chemicals and enzymes in environmental tort litigation. 

As part of her practice, Emily also represents various public entities and school districts including claims ranging from negligent hiring, negligent supervision, harassment, intimidation and bullying (HIB), sexual assault pursuant to the New York Child Victims Act (CVA), and claims specific to dangerous conditions and resource allocation pursuant to New Jersey's Title 59.
