Matthew Ziebarth is an associate in the Minneapolis office of Lewis Brisbois. Matthew advises businesses on complex business and commercial litigation disputes, helping them manage risk and resolve litigation efficiently. He has a passion for delivering outstanding results for his clients by considering aspects of risk management at every point in the litigation cycle. Matthew’s breadth of experience across the legal and business spectrum helps him provide a comprehensive strategy for clients on a variety of issues, including but not limited to contractual matters, financial services, and complex problems throughout the business lifecycle.
Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, Matthew was an associate at a law firm, where his practice consisted of advising municipal governments and representing clients of all sizes in district court, mediation, arbitration, and administrative court matters. Matthew additionally practiced as a Mergers & Acquisitions associate, advising clients on both the buy and sell side of the business sale process.
Before becoming an attorney, Matthew obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license while working in accounting and finance at two Fortune 50 sized companies. He then received his Juris Doctor at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in Denver. During his time at the University of Denver, Matthew was selected as a Brownstein Summer Fellow working with an international Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), before working in the International Tax Services group at a Big 4 accounting and consulting firm.
