Nashville, Tenn. (July 24, 2025) – Nashville Associate Austin Wells was recently featured in NashvilleVoyager Magazine’s “Local Stories” segment about his experience as a transactional music attorney at Lewis Brisbois.

Mr. Wells elaborated on his practice at Lewis Brisbois, where he negotiates exclusive recording, publishing, producer, and endorsement agreements on behalf of music clients.
“As a contractual lawyer, my primary function is ensuring my clients’ intellectual property and creative interests are adequately safeguarded and recognized in any partnership they may be considering,” said Mr. Wells to NashvilleVoyager.
Mr. Wells is a 2021 graduate of Belmont University College of Law where he obtained a certificate in Entertainment and Sports Law. His practice focuses primarily on counseling individuals and businesses in the entertainment industry.
