Dana Fox Appointed to IATL Budget & Finance Committee
Los Angeles, Calif. (March 31, 2025) - Los Angeles Trial Partner Dana Alden Fox has been appointed to the Budget & Finance Committee of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL). As a Fellow in the organization – a position to which he was appointed in 2023 in Switzerland, Mr. Fox will now have opportunities to participate in the leadership of the most prestigious organization of trial lawyers in the world.
IATL limits membership to 500 Fellows from the United States, in addition to Fellows from nearly 40 countries across the globe. The organization seeks out, identifies, acknowledges, and honors those who have achieved a career of excellence through demonstrated skill and ability in jury trials, trials before the court, and appellate practice. Members are engaged in civil practice on both the plaintiff and defendant sides of the courtroom, as well as the trial of criminal cases. Chartered in 1954, the Academy’s general purposes are to cultivate the science of jurisprudence, promote reforms in the law, and facilitate the administration of justice.
Mr. Fox serves as co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability Practice, co-chair of the Civil Rights and Police Litigation Defense Task Force, and a member of the Crisis Management, Transportation, and National Trial Practices. He has been practicing law for 39 years and tries the most difficult, high exposure cases in California, consistently obtaining defense jury verdicts in prominent matters. Mr. Fox holds the elevated rank of Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
