Jacquita Parks Appointed Co-Chair of GAWL’s Judicial Applicant Review Committee & Rep-At-Large for GAWL Foundation Board
Atlanta, Ga. (June 25, 2024) – Atlanta Associate Jacquita Parks has been re-appointed as Co-Chair of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) Judicial Applicant Review Committee, and as Representative-At-Large for GAWL’s Foundation Board. Ms. Parks has held the title of Rep-At-Large on the GAWL Foundation Board since 2023.
The GAWL Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2003 to encourage philanthropy by women lawyers in Georgia for the benefit of the greater community. Ms. Parks has also served on the GAWL Board as the Co-Chair of the Judicial Applicant Review Committee for since 2022, and received the award for Committee of the Year for the 2023-2024 Board Year.
Ms. Parks is a member of the Professional Liability, General Liability, Architects & Engineers Practices, and the Civil Rights & Police Litigation Defense Task Force. Seasoned litigator and has experience in representing governmental entities and individuals in a wide variety of matters in State and Federal Courts in Georgia.
