Jim Hailey to Present on Insurance Fraud Through Legal Lens at CAIF Midyear Meeting

Chicago, Ill. (May 12, 2025) - New Orleans Partner James W. Hailey III will join a panel on insurance fraud through a legal lens at the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud (CAIF) 2025 Midyear Meeting, hosted in Chicago on June 9-10.

In this informative panel discussion, titled " Insurance Fraud Through A Legal Lens: Insights From The Frontlines," Mr. Hailey and his co-panelists will explore the evolving legal landscape shaping the fight against insurance fraud. Mr. Hailey will be joined by Jeff Rapattoni (Marshall Dennehey), Vincent Gerbino (Bruno, Gerbino, Soriano, & Aitken), Jonathan Marks (Katten), and Gene Weisberg (Gladstone Weisberg). Moderated by Frank Sztuk (Delta Group), the presenters will examine recent court rulings, emerging legal trends, and pressing challenges that influence how fraud is detected, prevented, investigated, and prosecuted. This event is open to CAIF members only.

Mr. Hailey is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Insurance Coverage Practice. He focuses on assisting insurance and corporate clients in detecting, deterring, and defeating fraud in construction, premises, transportation, and general litigation matters, including coverage. He is also an active member of the Louisiana Bar and sits on the state's Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee.
