Jonathan Pink Named One of The Envelope’s Entertainment Business Visionaries

Los Angeles, Calif. (June 21, 2024) – Los Angeles Partner and Entertainment, Media & Sports Practice Co-Chair Jonathan Pink was named to the Entertainment Business Visionaries list for The Envelope, the Los Angeles Times’ entertainment awards season magazine.

Mr. Pink was one of a group of entertainment-focused lawyers and businesspeople honored by The Envelope. The publication characterized its Entertainment Business Visionaries honorees the “frequently unsung heroes” of the entertainment industry, further describing them as part of a “squadron of professionals whose expertise fuels the engines that drive the industry forward.”

“Lawyers, accountants, lenders, business managers, wealth managers and an array of service providers’ roles are not merely supportive; they are integral and indispensable,” The Envelope’s summary explained. “Their expertise can get a film or show greenlit and elevate a project to the next level.”

Mr. Pink, who is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Intellectual Property Practice in addition to co-chairing its Entertainment, Media & Sports Practice, is a nationally recognized copyright, trademark and business litigator who represents high profile clients in the entertainment, music, media, advertising, sports and merchandising industries. He was the 2015 recipient of the IP Vanguard Award, the highest distinction awarded by the Intellectual Property Section of the California State Bar.  

His clients have included companies such as BMG Rights Management, Pioneer Electronics, Viacom, CBS Outdoor, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sephora USA, Tilly’s, Rip Curl, BBR Music Group and Sanctuary Records.
