Kathryn Warren Profiled in Illinois Newspaper Following Move to Lewis Brisbois

Highland, Ill. (July 10, 2024) - Madison County Partner Kathryn (“Katie”) Warren was recently profiled in The Pioneer – Highland Illinois’ community newspaper – in an article discussing her move to Lewis Brisbois. Highland is in Madison County, Illinois, where Katie practices. 

As the article titled, “Highland Has New Attorney Offering Legal Guidance,” explains, Ms. Warren recently joined Lewis Brisbois as a partner in the firm’s Public Agency & Municipal Law and General Liability Practices. For the last 15 years, she has served as a prosecutor in the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office and, most recently, as the chief of the office’s Criminal Division. In this role, Ms. Warren oversaw all of the office’s felony and misdemeanor cases and supervised all criminal prosecutions. In addition, she handled hundreds of high-level felony cases, including those involving homicide, offenses targeted against police officers, traffic fatalities, drug trafficking, and complex white collar crime. Ms. Warren has extensive trial experience and a track record of securing favorable verdicts in high profile and high stakes cases.

In her practice at Lewis Brisbois, Ms. Warren works directly with elected and appointed officials, as well as with the general public, on a variety of legal matters. These include drafting and implementing public policy and ordinances, facilitating business development, prosecuting ordinance violations, and directing all stages of litigation through trial. Due to her significant courtroom experience, she also serves as a resource for clients facing trial in a wide array of cases that Lewis Brisbois handles.

Ms. Warren is admitted to practice in Illinois and Missouri.
