Laura Lopez & Patrick McCormick to Present on Navigating HOAs at OCBA Seminar
Orange County, Calif. (July 11, 2025) – Orange County Partners Laura Lopez and Patrick J. McCormick will join a panel on “Navigating Your Way Through Your HOA” at the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) seminar in Newport Beach on July 28 at 5:00 p.m. PT.
In this 90-minute informative session, Ms. Lopez and Mr. McCormick will be joined by Natalie Stephan and William Curry (Whitney Petchul) to provide an overview of the roles, responsibilities, and legal powers of homeowners and homeowners associations in planned communities. Attendees will gain information on governing documents, dispute resolution procedures, industry insights, and emerging legislative trends. CLE credits are available.

Mr. McCormick is a member of the Construction Practice. These include claims by homeowners and business owners arising from catastrophic events such as floods, and claims asserted under the Davis-Stirling Act.
