Lewis Brisbois BIPA Co-Chairs Present 'The BIPA Radar' Podcast Series

Chicago, Ill. (January 17, 2023) - Lewis Brisbois is excited to announce a new podcast series, “The BIPA Radar,” hosted by Mary Smigielski and Josh Kantrow, co-chairs of the BIPA (Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act) Practice. This collaborative podcast will address critical aspects of compliance, insurance coverage, and litigation moving forward.

Lewis Brisbois established the nation’s first BIPA focused Practice, and is at the cutting-edge of defense in the wave of high exposure class action litigation being brought against Illinois employers and other groups under the Act.

In Episode 1 of The BIPA Radar, Ms. Smigielski and Mr. Kantrow discuss what biometrics are, how their collection and storage has been handled in the past, and the origins of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.
