New Orleans, La. (May 1, 2024) – New Orleans Associates Shiena Marie Burke and Miranda Tucker Morgan will present a session, titled "Motions for Summary Judgment: Valuing a Case" on May 2 at the Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, International meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Honorable Order of the Blue Goose, International is a fraternal organization of individuals who work in insurance-related industries. This exciting event will feature a networking session and dinner for attendees. CE credits are available.
Mrs. Burke is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith Litigation Practices. Prior to joining Lewis Brisbois, she held a federal clerkship with the Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges for two years. She then moved to private practice to defend clients in Longshore, Defense Base Act and Black Lung litigation.
Ms. Morgan is a member of the General Liability Practice. After graduating from law school in 2020, Miranda went on to work at the Caddo Parish and Orleans Parish Public Defender's office for several years where she honed her trial skills while advocating for the indigent and underserved members of the community. Finally, she returned to her original roots in the insurance industry and came to Lewis Brisbois to practice insurance defense litigation.
