Paul Muniz Named Chairman of The Board at BankGloucester

Boston, Mass. (February 2, 2024) – Boston Partner Paul Muniz was recently unanimously named Chairman of The Board at BankGloucester by the organization’s Board of Directors. He has been an independent director of the state-chartered mutual bank since 2001, and has served as a chair of numerous committees during that period.

In a statement to Gloucester Daily Times, BankGloucester President and CEO Patrick B. Thorpe said that Mr. Muniz’ “extensive legal background and strategic acumen position him well to help lead BankGloucester into a future of continued success.”

Mr. Muniz is a member of the Professional Liability Practice. He has substantial experience litigating claims involving complex design and construction issues, intellectual property, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair and deceptive trade practices, fraud and other business torts, as well as claims involving the False Claims Act.
