Rima Badawiya to Speak at CLM Annual Conference on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Law

San Bernardino, Calif. (February 10, 2022) - San Bernardino Partner Rima M. Badawiya will speak at the upcoming Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) Annual conference on diversity, equity, and inclusion at small and mid-sized law firms, hosted at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa on March 24 at 2:00 p.m. PT.

In this informative session titled "One Size Doesn't Fit All: Addressing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Small- and Mid-Sized Law Firms," Ms. Badawiya and her co-panelists will discuss how having a high level of diversity in a legal practice means that those strengths can be leveraged to obtain results that less-diverse environments cannot. They will also provide an overview of how big law firms can allocate time and money to diversity and inclusion efforts, and steps smaller firms can take to achieve a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture.

Ms. Badawiya serves as co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ Healthcare, Medical Malpractice, and Long-Term Care & Elder Law Practices, and as vice-chair of its Healthcare Regulatory & Compliance Practice. She is also a member of the firm’s COVID-19 Response Team. Ms. Badawiya's civil trial practice focuses on the defense of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare and long-term care professionals and organizations.
