Shawn Toliver and Dana Fox to Speak at EMEA Casualty Claims Conference in London
Los Angeles, Calif. (March 13, 2025) – Walnut Creek Managing Partner Shawn Toliver and Los Angeles Partner Dana Fox will speak on U.S. venued losses at the 2025 EMEA Casualty Claims Conference, hosted by Chubb UK in London on April 25.
In this 60-minute informative session, Mr. Toliver and Mr. Fox will examine the complexities of US venue losses and the impact of nuclear judgments and social inflation. Attendees will gain valuable insights into venue considerations, including the insurability of punitive damages, workers’ compensation immunity, and strategic pre-trial and trial tactics to mitigate risk.
Mr. Toliver is a co-chair of the firm’s national General Liability Practice, a member of the firm’s Finance Committee, and a former member of the firm’s Compensation Committee. Mr. Toliver has almost 30 years of experience as a litigator and trial attorney in California State and Federal Courts.
Mr. Fox serves as co-chair of Lewis Brisbois’ General Liability practice, co-chair of the Civil Rights and Police Litigation Defense Task Force, and a member of the Crisis Management, Transportation, and National Trial Practice groups. He has been practicing law for 37 years.
