Tricia Bellich to Present on Reporting Penalties at 2024 CLM Webinar Series
Highland, Ind. (September 5, 2024) – Northwest Indiana Partner Tricia Bellich will present a webinar, titled “Caution: Risk of Section 111 Reporting Penalties Ahead,” at the 2024 Claims Litigation Management (CLM) Webinar Series on September 18 at 12:00 p.m. ET.
This CLE presentation will cover the new Civil Monetary Penalties (CMPs) rule, which imposes penalties of $1,000 per day, per claim on self-insured employers and certain insurers for reporting failures. Ms. Bellich will be joined by co-presenters Frank Fairchok of Allocation Services, Inc. dba IMPAXX and Nicole Mello of MEMIC. Together, they will explore how Section 111 impacts claims processes and costs, along with best practices for timely reporting, error avoidance, and compliance to reduce penalties and manage claim expenses.
Ms. Bellich is a member of Lewis Brisbois’ Workers’ Compensation and General Liability Practices. She serves as a trainer, speaker, and mentor – on a national scale – in the area of workers’ compensation.
