Trio of Lewis Brisbois Clients Included Among Spotify's 2024 Artists-To-Watch

Nashville, Tenn. (Jan. 16, 2024) - Spotify's list of 2024 Artists-To-Watch includes three country artists represented by Nashville Administrative Partner Matt Cottingham: Anne Wilson, Matt Schuster and Wyatt Flores. 

As reported by Music Row, Spotify recently unveiled its list, which includes 90 up-and-coming artists spanning multiple genres. Mr. Cottingham's clients are among the 10 country artists represented on the list. 

According to Music Row, Ms. Wilson experienced her breakout after a video of her singing “What a Beautiful Name” at her brother’s funeral went viral. Her debut song “My Jesus,” became a Gold-certified No. 1 on Billboard’s Christian Airplay chart, and was named ASCAP’s 2022 Christian Music Awards Song of the Year. She is now partnered with UMG Nashville and working on her next album. 

Mr. Schuster, a Warner Music Nashville signee, has made a name for himself with country-rock hits like “Tell Me Tennessee” and “Last Fall.” His massive streaming numbers - 140 million and counting - have landed him slots touring with artists including Kameron Marlowe, Dylan Scott, Ashley Cooke and Brantley Gilbert.

Mr. Flores, whose influences include Turnpike Troubadours, Tyler Childers and Jason Isbell, has garnered attention with songs like “Travelin’ Kid,” “Please Don’t Go” and “Break My Bones." He has garnered millions of streams and is signed with Island Records.

Mr. Cottingham joined Lewis Brisbois in 2022 as a partner in the firm’s Entertainment Group in Nashville, specializing in entertainment, intellectual property and business law. He represents individuals and companies in the entertainment industry and provides experienced guidance to recording artists, songwriters, record producers, independent music publishers, new media companies and independent record labels. Before joining Lewis Brisbois, he practiced with a boutique entertainment firm in Nashville.
